Hey All Well, looks like they found the Cherokee today...the body is pretty much in the same shape as it was before, plus a few more scratches. But the interior is a little trashed. They broke into one of the quarter windows and punched out the side of the steering column and hotwired it. The stereo, CB, and a few other things were gone. Plus one of the front tires was flat and off the bead. The only unknown now is it mechanicaly still okay, or did they damage something internally? My shop and I will give it a good check over once we get somethings fixed...good thing I have full coverage! Otherwise, I had been meaning to sell it...was going to in a few months anyhow and it will probably still happen. Ill just be sure to get everything fixed on it. I expected worst, but it was a typical smash and grab with joyride. Thanks for keeping an eye out everyone! Three wrong entries will cut the fuel pump and sound the horn. I don't know exactly when they first utilized this computer, but I did see one in a 1986 325. Also, I can change the code each time after I start the engine. If nobody knows what the 325IX is, here is some off-topic info: AWD sedan that is better than a stock XJ!!! The 325IX is a rare BMW that was imported from 1986 to 1991 I have a 1989 and a 1990 My 1989 has 429,000 miles on it. My 1990 has 232,000 miles on it.
