The markup of export over parts imported may just be taking advantage of the weak dollar, which, agreed, would make it stronger. But our oil dependence is a here and now problem. I'd much rather buy hard parts from Europe than the liquid gold. - - Landon - -----Original Message----- From: owner-fsj-at-digest.net [mailto:owner-fsj-at-digest.net] On Behalf Of john Sent: Wednesday, March 19, 2008 12:16 AM To: full size jeep list; xj-list; diesel-benz list; WJ-Grand-at-yahoogroups.com; Brad.Seevers-at-ppmtech.com; bull-at-eskimo.com; Ronald Fuka; Ken Wetherall; Michael Lacher; Wes Molsberry; ABCvoice-at-worldnet.att.net; grhubert Subject: fsj: [db] Finally waking up? If anyone knows of a way to eliminate this worm please let me in on the secret. It has almost made my computer unusable. I can't keep up with the thing it is letting through the back door (so to speak) of my computer. this is crazy I thought I had all the anti virus protection I needed but since I had to go back to dial up from road Runner high speed the problems keep getting worse with this being the worst and so far impossible to get rid of. I keep thinking about people sitting in front of their computer thinking of ways to drive me crazy and other siting in front of theirs try to think, of ways to make money off me going crazy. Probably the same people! Michael In a message dated 3/18/2008 11:15:39 A.M. I thought I had gotten rid of the worm but twelve hours later it began to attack again. at this point if it's not free ware them I'll just have to put up with it. I have narrowed down to the window of infection to me reporting porno spam on my space or reporting a money laundering scam to the police. I was sent $2000 in American express travelers checks (unsolicited) by some one who wanted me to cash them for him and keep 20% for my self. the police and American Express says they are the best fakes they have ever seen and if not for invalid code numbers they would have been cashed and never caught in the system. hell of a note when honesty gets you something like this. I'd gotten as far as loosening the head bolts, then discovered that 5 of them were hidden under the injectors, so they had to come out. They didn't want to. A 28mm spanner + a diesel socket were too big, so I went and bought the 27mm version.. guess what.. too small!! No, imperial size inbetween.. I took my dremel to the 27mm and ground it out until it fit. The injectors still didn't want to come out, even with a big torque wrench on there.. I didn't like doing it but "Goliath" (my impact wrench) had to be used to get them out! Whoever was in there last must be built like Tyson. So, the plan is, the heads (one per cylinder) come off Monday, then timing cover then pull the camshaft.. Steve ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #2759 *************************
