My 05 dodge ram 4x4 had the same problem, difference is dodge uses four bolts to hold the infernal hub/bearing assembly on, not three like an XJ. Mine were rust welded into the knuckle. Only way I could get it out was with an air hammer on the bolts after the bolts were removed, then threaded back in. I had to grind the heads on the bolts after that so that I could get them back in. The book says not to anti-seize the bearing assembly when reinstalling, but I did it anyway. I figured that since the first pair failed at a little over 80k miles, I'd be the one doing the job again. ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #2762 *************************
