(I know a few people missed this because I've gotten questions about this from others.) Michael Baxter and I got messages that went like this: >I don't know how to say this but Joe Sego passed away on Monday July 19 > @ 3:15 pm. This is Neil Joe's Son. I can't figure out which mailing list We all miss Joe Sego... Guess the word hasn't gotten out as far as it should have. :( Sorry you didn't hear earlier. This is my reply to Karen Sego, and her message below that with the details of his illness and passing... ================ thank you Karen for letting me know. I'll pass this along to all of his friends. We've all wanted to know what happened. Joe was very special to so many of us. I've met so many folks from the internet, and was looking forward to someday meeting Joe. He always had pleasant things to say about his family. All of his internet friends wish his family the very best. We all miss him too. john meister snohomish, washington ======================================= At 11:18 PM 7/30/99 -0500, you wrote: John, Thank you for your kind letter. Sounds like you knew him very well even though you never met. I never really knew who he talked to because the computer was his thing but I guess I'll learn .As to what happened July 8 he didn't feel well but we thought it was the flu. All the symptoms. Gradually felt worse and by Sun the 11th his fever was 104. He had pneumonia in 1993 so I took him to the ER at 2;00. Admitted for it and they detected a rapid heartbeat also. TO make a long story short the rapid beat screwed up this thyroid which messed up his blood pressure . They then detected a problem of another infection in his abdomen and did surgery. It was a perferated ulcer, which we did'nt know he had. Kidneys had quit working and an irregular heartbeat weas present. They put him on dialysis but it wouldn't work. On Monday July 19 he went into cardiac arrest and with all his problems they were unable to save him. He was totally unconcious from Tue morning until his death. It was very comforting to know that he spoke so much about his family. WE WILL ALL MISS HIS TENDER HEART AND HIS SMILE SO MUCH. Thank you John, Karen Sego =================================== =================================== Here's the email from Neil Sego: >From nsego@indy.net Thu Jul 22 12:36:16 1999 From: Neil Sego Thanks John, I'll keep in touch.
