I made some good progress today.  I got the tranny and t-case out of the '78.  I noticed that I can use the metal plate that goes between the engine and tranny with the TH400.  Also, I know that I have to use the '78 linkage for the TH400.  The lines from the tranny and radiator must be used, too.  The 727 had the lines run to the drivers side.

Tomorrow, I start to put it all together.

And to think that this project started because an engine blew up.  A project gone mad.
