Actually it's a 1978 Wagoneer, not technically a Grand, they didn't come out until the little wagoneers (xj) models were intro'd in 1984. Lots of cool little details added, like ice detector system, rear wipers, headlight wipers... radar detector... It has a lengthened front end by 2.5" to accomodate the V12, done very nicely. I got some great detail shots of how they did it... and we didn't even set off the alarm. ;) http://www.wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/TheJerrari/ the URL is to a "contact sheet" composite of several of the detailed shots I took Spring of 99. The engine/trans setup is a Ferrari 365 GTC/4 V-12 and C4 5 speed transmission coupled to the Jeep Quadratrac... top speed 140 mph. (this info is off the plaque... I have no earthly idea what C4 tranny they're talking about... in my mind a C4 is a three speed ford auto...;) later, john ----------------------------------------------------------- john@wagoneers.com http://www.wagoneers.com http://wagoneers.com/83stepside/ (Superdawg) http://wagoneers.com/AMSOIL/FSJ_filters.html Snohomish, WA, where Jeeps don't rust, they mold... -----------------------------------------------------------
