Other ideas of the alleged problem? If the vacuum line to the modulator comes unhooked (usually right near the modulator, due to the hose swelling from the ATF leaking from the cooling lines right near it), it will stay in first gear. It will also do this if the governor freezes up (AMHIK). If it does move in L, S or D, I suspect that the transmission's clutches and seals are fine and that the problem lies with something that is cheap and easy to fix. >Oh ya. It is 800 bucks. Body looks pretty good. Lovely hubcaps. Thanks >for your help. I'll need lots of info to bring with me when I go talk to >the guy. For $800 with a good body, *I* would buy it! Snap it up right-quick; I bet you'll have a fully-functioning truck with nothing more than hooking up a new vacuum line. ________________________________________________ Bob Barry MailTo:RBarry@Providence.Edu http://studentweb.providence.edu/~rbarry/wheels/
